ZSA 450

This slitter rewinder handles adhesive tapes, laminated products and foam type materials which require a clean and flawless cut at the end of the reel. The machine has an automatic duplex taping station and a shear cut cross cutter. The web is unwound at a driven shaftless unwind. A large vacuum table allows easy splicing and elimination of rejected material which is rewound on a scrap rewinder.

The scrap rewinder can also be used for rewinding of a product liner prior to slitting.

A cassette system for driven shear cut slitting allows easy and fast change to different slitting widthes. The edge trim is rewound on independent reliable traversing edge trim rewinder.

The rewinding of the slit strands is provided on 2 rewind turrets with differential rewind shafts. An automatic core loading system and finished roll stripping frame removes the rolls from the slitter to a packing line and loads automatically the new cores for the next winding cycle.

The slitters of ZSA 450 series can be equipped either with a manual core box for wider rolls as well as with a fully automatic core sorting system for narrow slits down to 8 mm core width.
